Jetro Cash & Carry, a wholesale grocery foodservice and catering supply warehouse, Belmet Products, a metal stamping company and Singalli Collision, an auto body shop, have all significantly reduced their energy usage after receiving significantly low-cost or free lighting upgrades through Operation Kill-A-Watt.

The combined power reduction resulting from the upgrades provided to these three Brooklyn businesses equals 1,171,870 kilowatt hours – an amount equivalent to the power used by over 100 average residences, permanently eliminated from the New York City power grid.
