Rutgers University Upgrades Lighting In 15 Buildings
Public Energy Solutions Helps Produce Annual Energy Cost Savings of $351,500
Goal:
Upgrade the lighting systems in 15 academic, administrative and recreational buildings at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. The primary existing light sources were F40/T12 fluorescent lamps with energy saving and standard magnetic ballasts. A number of old “egg crate” fixtures also needed replacing.
