Keith Hartman Keith Hartman has more than 20 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry and is president of Public Energy Solutions, formerly the lighting division of PSEG Energy Technologies, a subsidiary of PSEG Holdings, LLC. Throughout his career, Hartman has overseen energy efficient facility upgrades for some of the nation’s largest corporations and utilities. As president of PES, Hartman is responsible for positioning the company for success by assisting customers in maximizing facility performance, managing costs and creating efficiencies through a combination of time-tested skills and state-of-the-art energy technologies. As an expert in demand response energy saving initiatives, programs based on price signals that encourage consumers to reduce their electricity use, Hartman created Operation Kill-A-Watt. This program has helped building owners across the Northeast save millions of dollars on energy costs by upgrading their lighting systems with energy efficient products for little or no cost through public utility subsidies and performance contracting. Prior to acquiring the lighting division of PSEG Energy Technologies, Hartman was director of lighting solutions for PSEG Energy Technologies, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s productivity and profitability. Before this position, Hartman was CEO of IllumElex Corp., the third largest lighting management company in the United States, where he successfully demonstrated the ability to improve profits, sales, and operations through entrepreneurial management and leadership skills. Additionally, Hartman held executive positions at GPU Advanced Resources. Hartman is a board member for the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and is an active member of the New Jersey Clean Energy Council. He is a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP), Certified Lighting Management Consultant (CLMC) and is a former board member for National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO). Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Accounting. John C. Jensen John C. Jensen has 30 years experience in asset management, business development, new product development, strategic planning and implementation in a range of energy-related industries. John is responsible for overseeing Public Energy Solutions’ financial and delivery operations as well as growth strategy.
Prior to his work with PSEG, Jensen held different executive level sales, marketing and business development positions with leading energy management and renewable energy companies in Massachusetts, North Carolina and California.
Alpesh Dharia Public Energy Solutions (PES) Vice President of Finance Alpesh Dharia has more than 15 years experience in the energy services sector, with expertise in business and financial planning, developing energy plans, monitoring energy conservation and assessing new business opportunities and technologies. During that time, he has been responsible for reducing energy consumption by millions of dollars. Prior to joining PES, Dharia worked at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) Demand Management Co. LLC in a variety of positions, most recently as Senior Asset Manager, where he managed a portfolio of energy purchase agreements with projected revenues of more than $30 million and annual energy savings of more than 300 megawatt hours. He also helped the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley team develop documents for power plants in Poland. Before working at PSEG, Dharia was Energy Manager for Macy’s East in New York City, where he reduced the energy budget by more than $1 million annually by identifying and implementing energy conservation and cost-reduction projects, initiating gas procurement and executing operational changes. Dharia also worked at several other companies where he conducted energy audits and managed energy engineers’ activities. Dharia has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bombay University, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University and an executive M.B.A. degree from Stern School of Business at New York University. |
