Upgrade the lighting systems at Serta, Inc.’s Linden, N.J., mattress and box spring manufacturing site, including a production area of 240,000 square feet. Serta was operating with 400 watt high-pressure sodium high bay fixtures, averaging 746,000 kilowatt hours per year.

Public Energy Solutions:

	Installed T5 high output fluorescent lamps.
	Caused energy usage to drop 48 percent to 388,000 kilowatt hours, with expected savings of $39,400 annually, an amount that recaptures installation costs in a little over three years.
